Tuesday, January 30, 2024, The Conference Board published a report that the index had hit a 2 year high, with declining pessimism regarding the future.

This attitude of consumers has prompted Real Estate buyer confidence begin to blossom, starting in different areas of the country. All recent consumer confidence reports are showing a rise in the index pointing to current and future strength of our economy.
“The Market Outlook from the REALTORS® Confidence Index for buyers and sellers continued to gain positive steam in December 2023: 33% of respondents expect a year-over-year increase in buyer traffic in the next three months, up from 16% one month ago and up from 12% one year ago.”
